This was the last Biohazard album with Bobby Hambel, who left due to differences with the rest of the band. Hambel invested time in White Devil, also featuring members of the Cro-Mags, before seemingly leaving the music service totally. In late 1995, the band, together with Therapy? and Gunshot, contributed remixes to the Pitchshifter album.

It was produced with the assistance of Dave Jerden. For the 199697 Mata Leao Tour, the band worked with previous Helmet guitarist Rob Echeverria. The band also used the Ozzfest mainstage together with Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Danzig, Fear Factory, and Sepultura.
