In 1993, the hardcore rap group Onyx taped an alternate "Bionyx" version of their hit single "Slam" with Biohazard as their backup band. This caused a collaboration on the title track of the Judgment Night soundtrack. The soundtrack would go on to sell over 2 million copies in the United States.

Records Inc., who released their third studio LP,. The album was produced by Ed Stasium in Los Angeles and consisted of the single "How It Is" featuring Sen Pet of Cypress Hill, for which a video was also shot. Throughout their 1994 tour, the band made an appearance on the second phase at the Monsters of Rock celebration held at Castle Donington.

This was the last Biohazard album with Bobby Hambel, who left due to differences with the remainder of the band. Hambel hung out in White Devil, also including members of the Cro-Mags, before apparently leaving the music business totally. In late 1995, the band, in addition to Therapy? and Gunshot, contributed remixes to the Pitchshifter album.

It was produced with the help of Dave Jerden. For the 199697 Mata Leao Tour, the band employed former Helmet guitar player Rob Echeverria. The band also used the Ozzfest mainstage alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Danzig, Worry Factory, and Sepultura. While visiting Europe in support of the Mata Leao album, the band taped their Hamburg, Germany, reveal for their very first live album, No Holds Disallowed (Live in Europe), which was released in 1997 through their previous label, Roadrunner Records.

The character was presented in the 2nd season and appeared throughout the series' 6th and final season. The band signed to Mercury Records and launched their fifth studio album, New World Condition, in 1999, once again with Ed Stasium as a producer. The relationship with Mercury Records soured rapidly as the band felt betrayed and misconstrued by the label.

In 2000, the band continued to visit Europe and Japan, without the assistance of a record label or management. In 2001, the band released a compilation album titled. The album included various B-sides and remixes from numerous periods in the band's recording history. The album was released by the Phantom Noise & Vision label.
