The European Medicines Agency warned EU Member States to refrain from greenlighting the Russian Sputnik V vaccine individually before the EMA’s approval is granted. The EMA is expected to hold an extraordinary meeting on March 11 to deal with the issue, but some countries, such as Hungary and Slovakia, have already gone ahead with the Russian jab.
