After exploring Chișinău in our last vlog, we decided to get out of the capital and see a completely different side of Moldova, Europe's least visited country.

This time, we head into the countryside to visit the historic Căpriana Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova, before tracking down something a little more unexpected: the largest wine cellar in the world at Mileștii Mici. It's like an underground wine city filled with over a million bottles of wine!

And along the way, we took a little detour to visit the biggest wine barrel in the world, because whenever something claims to be the biggest in the world, we have to stop and see for ourselves.

From quiet monasteries to massive underground tunnels filled with wine, this is what happens when you go beyond the capital and start exploring what Moldova really has to offer.
