Religion in Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices. Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) has centres of worship for a multitude of faiths. It is also the Most Religious City in the World but also Least Religious via Religiosity in the Middle East. Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) has about (99.16%) Believer population which is extremely High as compared to Other Middle Eastern Countries. According to the Census 2022 AD, Islam is the largest religion in the Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) with (98.94%). The Second largest growing religion is Christianity with (0.12%) that forms Predominantly various Roman Catholic Churches (Catholicism),minor are Protestant Churches (Protestantism) along with such as Anglicanism, and many others etc, that is overall total with minority Eastern Orthodoxy and many others etc., along with the Third largest religion is Judaism with (0.05%) , But there is also a small and growing number of Tounsi are those who belongs to No Religion Affiliations/Category (which includes Deism, Atheism, Agnosticism, Non-theism, Secular humanism along with No Response) with (0.84%) & very least as compared to Other Countries. Others remaining includes Bahaism, Hinduism, Sikhism & many others etc. The Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) is Muslim majority (Muslim Nation) but in Future it will remain Muslim Majority. Other Religions are also on growing because of Immigration. The Tounsi Government Recognizes Islam as it's Official/State Religion. Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) had a large Adherents Of Judaism for an ancient times.
Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) has also a number of Bahai who are mainly from USA, Iran & Europe etc.
Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) has Non-Muslim population (0.22%) which is religious affiliated to other religions which is Extremely Low as compared to total population just because of Immigration.
From various Non-Muslim majority Countries, Non-Muslim Immigrants live in Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) and it has one of the Middle East Country which has a little but visible Irreligion (No Religion) Population.
Hinduism is also present via just Immigration.
After the Formation Of State Of Israel in 1948 AD, Most Jews Migrated to this Jewish State & until today they continued to Migrate.
According to WIN/Gallup International polls, Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) has the Most Least religious population Among Arab countries But it is one of the most religious populations (In Religion Term) as world-wide comparison.
The Constitution of Tunis (Tunisia's Capital) provides for freedom of religion, and the Government generally respected this right in practice. The Constitution declares that Islam is the state religion, and that Shari'a (Islamic law) is the source of all legislation. Muslims and followers of religious groups other than Islam are free to Worship.
