Travel SPAIN: From Valencia to Cartagena (Without a Car)

Join us on our travel adventures around Spain! We leave the Catalonia region of Spain and travel along the southeastern coast to the cities of Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, and Cartagena.

We spend the next 4 days exploring the Valencia and Murcia regions of Spain. Our first stop is a 2 day whirlwind visit to the city of Valencia, a beautiful port city and home to our favourite Spanish dish: paella!

We spend a half day, each, in the cities of Alicante and Murcia. The palm trees, beaches, and Old Town of Alicante were our favourite! We were surprised by the architecture and beauty of Murcia, including the top visited attraction in the city: the Real Casino de Murcia.

We finish off our time in the southeastern coast of Spain with a visit to the historic city of Cartagena! The city is renowned for the Roman Theatre Museum, a well-preserved example of ancient Roman architecture.
