On the occasion of this year’s Global Exhibitions Day, we discussed the state of our industry in Europe at this point of the pandemic, the perspectives for reopening & restarting and explore opportunities for the mid and long term with Eric Philippart from the European Commission.

Testimonials from several countries and subsectors of the exhibition industry were provided an overview and name the most pressing issues.

We heard about the EU’s action to reopen travel in a coordinated way, which support the EU provides to Member States or to companies directly and about the strategic policies that will create a variety of opportunities, placing exhibitions at the core of recovery and the future sustainable and digital transformation of the economy.
We invited all participants to actively participate in the discussion.
