A family in Yorkshire were looking into housing a Ukrainian refugee family before the Government developed a housing scheme.

A Ukrainian family, who have been displaced by the war and are now waiting in Moldova, saw their offer on Facebook and replied.

Both families have filed the relevant paperwork to the Government and are exchanging daily messages and calls while they wait for visas.
