UN Women Chief visits Ukrainian women and girls in Moldova refugee center

On Sunday April 10th 2022, UN Women Executive Director Sima Bahous visited the MoldExpo, a Refugee Accommodation Centre managed by the Government of Moldova. The vast majority of the refugees are women, children and elderly people desperately longing to go home.

UN Women continues to work in partnership with the UN system and its partners to provide protection and essential services to women and girls in need.
