The University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (AHE in Lodz)
is one of the oldest and the largest private higher education institution in Poland. The 28 years of experience have resulted in a unique educational model. Students can choose any of over 100 courses in Polish and 7 majors in English. The curricula are constantly updated according to market demands and students interests. Each student benefits from an individual approach, which results in solving tasks and problems they face in creative way. We use the methods of projects and workshops to develop the student’s competencies and shape their attitudes needed to succeed in life and professional career. We are a university of modern technologies, boasting a professionally equipped publishing house, television studio, exhibition galleries, medical clinic and the largest, among non-public schools in the region, free-access library.
University is located in the renovated and modernised 19th century factory sites in the strict center of the City. This place gives students access to a wide range of cultural offer and ensures ease of communication throughout the city.
Polish Virtual University (PUW) is a part of AHE in Lodz. It’s the first in Poland online educational platform, which provides opportunities to gain qualifications without need of commuting and disrupting everyday duties or family commitments. The 18 years of experience in distance learning is perfect, especially during the crisis related to the coronavirus pandemic. Thanks to our platform, students from all over the world can participate in online classes without the need to travel to Poland.
In our webinar, we will present the fields of study designed especially for foreign candidates. We will present the University, the realities of studying here and the city of Łódź itself, which is becoming the main communication center in Poland and a modern European city.
