Utah volunteers in Poland helping Ukrainian refugees

Max Morozoff has been living as a U.S. citizen in Utah for almost 30 years. For the past month, he’s been talking to his friends and family back home around the clock.

“Every single day, all day long, we talk to each other," said Morozoff. "I mean, even whether it's a text message or they send me a video or something like that. But 24/7 we basically stay in touch.”

Coordinating volunteers from Utah with authorities in Ukraine, Morozoff has helped the local nonprofit August Mission identify that the biggest need for refugees right now is medical help.
