What's going on with the permitted to stay stamp? In December of last year Vietnam changed the rules where tourists and select other visas are now only given a 1 month permitted to stay stamp. ???? Subscribe - https://goo.gl/9JHDhP

People get confused by this who have not traveled before. The stamp is different from your visa. When travel begins again, you'll be able to get a 3 month tourist visa. However, you'll need to leave the country, pay a tour company or get a bunch of documents and go to immigration every single month.

Again, your visa is still valid for 3 months. But your permitted to stay stamp is only for 1 month now not 3 months.
