VL3 weekend to Usti Nad Labem in Czech Republic, Wroclaw in Poland and Weimar in Germany

VL3 flight weekend away.

Friday evening, starting point was our homebase aeroclub Sanicole EBLE in Belgium. After a 2h and 20min flight we reached the airport of Usti Nad Labem LKUL, just across the border of Germany and the Czech Republic. Highlight of this 'sleeping' city was undoubtedly the hotel Vetruce, situated on a hill overlooking the city and the river. The next day we left early because a thunderstorm over Prague was coming our way. We flew to Wroclaw, Lotnisko Skymanow EPKW, a smaller airport fifteen minutes' drive from the city center, under the TMA of the big international airport of Wroclaw. Wroclaw was a surprisingly beautiful city with typical colorful facades and lively around the river. The next morning on Sunday we left for home. The plan was a stopover in the Czech Republic but soon the flight turned out to be very turbulent. We decided during the flight to fly home in a straight line and avoiding the mountains between Poland and the Czech Republic. We chose the town of Weimar in Germany as a stopover for lunch and to explore the town. We crossed the CTR of Dresden and had beautiful views over the city and airport. We were warmly welcomed at the airfield of Weimar EDOU. We visited the small city for icecream!
