After our day in Oświęcim visiting the Museum at Auschwitz-Birkenau, we took a train to the southernmost part of Poland near the border of Slovakia to visit Tatra National Park, the country’s best hiking region. It was a delightful feeling to be back in the mountains again after over a year of no hiking.

Unfortunately, all my footage from Auschwitz was corrupted by a faulty hard drive, so I am unable to share a video from our time there. Please check out my blog post instead where I share my photographs of our visit: https://janameerman.com/auschwitz/

NOTE: My mum is fully vaccinated and I had a negative COVID-19 test before entering Poland, as per current requirements.
