Nel 2020, mentre la pandemia si espandeva nel mondo ed alcuni hanno iniziato a chiedersi se avrebbe messo fine al sogno di Xi Jinping: la Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Il dibattito sullo status della BRI si concentra raramente sui suoi componenti all'interno dell'UE. Per questo motivo, questo evento offrirà analisi di alcuni dei paesi dell'UE che hanno aderito alla BRI, concentrandosi sullo stato di sviluppo dell'iniziativa nelle sue componenti economiche ed elementi politici.

In 2020, as the pandemic expanded globally, some began to wonder whether it was going to put an end to Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The debate on the status of the BRI rarely focuses on its components within the EU. For this reason, this event will offer analysis from some of the EU’s countries that signed into the BRI, focusing on the state of development of the initiative in its economic components and political elements.
