The Russian invasion of Ukraine has focused attention on Turkey’s relations with the two nations and its Nato partners. The panel will discuss the war’s potential impacts on Turkey’s economic and diplomatic ties across the Black Sea and with the United States and Europe, Turkish arms exports and the acquisition of Russian weapons systems, Turkey and Russia’s respective positions in Syria and the Caucasus, capital flight following economic sanctions on Russia and Russian citizens, and the market for energy and agricultural products.
