The Palace of Estoi
Built in the 19th century by the Viscount of Estoi, a man of wealth and taste, he created a beautiful neo-rococo family home with French style gardens, including statues and exotic flora. Typical Portuguese tiles adorn a number of walls and it takes in two tea pavilions, a number of dining rooms and even its own chapel.


After many years left to abandonit was rehabilitated and it became recently a Pousada of Portugal runned by the group Pestana. Considered a Small Luxury Hotel of the world it's a perfect venue for weddings or honeymooners.
It's also possible to visit the building and the gardens even if you are not accommodated at the pousada.
