The Aeolian islands tour will start sailing to Vulcanello, the youngest volcano, where lava flows moulded fantastic forms, creating the charming Valle dei Mostri. Baia delle Sabbie Nere popular for its beach of volcanic sand and then the active volcano Gran Cratere della Fossa. We proceed to Grotta del Cavallo, with the stunning Piscina di Venere – a natural swimming pool – to the little village of Gelso. Swimming break and cruise to Levante. During the walk in Levante, you can smell the particular acrid smell of sulphur. Here, we recommend a bath into the mud pool or into the hot waters, or a climb to volcano slopes.

With the stunning view on Lipari Castle, Monterosa and Canneto, the sail proceed to the Cava di Pomice. After a break for a relaxing swim, the tour will reach the village of Acquacalda and then Salina, aka the green island. First stop on Santa Marina Salina, the biggest town on the island and then to Polara: the town has a lovely bay, where guests can enjoy a relaxing swim and it is also popular for being the location of the “Postman” movie. The fishermen’s village of Lingua proposes several restaurants to enjoy delicious recipes, charming coves and the Lago Salato, which gave the name to the island. On our way back, we will visit the most beautiful grottos in Lipari and we will have a last swim on Vinci beach near the Faraglioni.
