This video is a short walk from the beautiful town of Lagos to the scenic Praia da Luz in the southern Algarve region in Portugal. The walk passes through smaller local streets and villages, showing the dry but idilic countryside and scenery that this region has to offer.

While Lagos is more popular and attracts more people, Praia da Luz is a small village that is a favourite holiday spot by retired people from across Europe. With less crowds and stunning sea views from the village, which is situated on a hill, I really recommend spending some time here - if you are looking for quiet and calm.

If you are more interested in bars and some a little bit of nightlife, then you might prefer Lagos. However, during the winter months, Lagos will become a bit more sleepy as well.
