The Algarve Series takes us to Albufeira. This is one of the main spots for people from foreign lands (meaning mostly the UK) who come to live the good Portuguese life in the Algarve. It is a peaceful city, with a very nice beach, and all the comforts Portugal has to offer. I filmed this early in the morning, which is why the streets appear empty. Trust me when I say that this is not the normal Albufeira. Streets are usually buzzing with people, the cafes packed with football fans drinking beer while watching the Premier League live, etc...
Notice the cat sleeping by the pier we finish at. There's perhaps a dozen cats there, all of them just as lazy as this one! :D
