The town of Alte, Loule and Loule Carnaval, The Algarve Day Out inland from the coast is beautiful we visit the town of Alte, it is known as one of the most typical and unspoilt villages in the the Algarve, after touring Alte we drive through the Algarve countryside to Loule a traditional Portuguese market town with a beautiful municipal market in the centre of the the city. Loule has many historic buildings like the Castle Of Loule, the municipal market building architecture has Moorish influences. Loule and Alte are great day out destinations away from The Algarve coast, on Saturdays Loule has a very large outdoor “Gypsy” market on the edge of town.

If you are in The Algarve in February be sure to check out the largest and oldest pre lent Carnaval in Portugal, Loule shuts down a city block and has a great party over three days, this is a must see during your winter vacation. It is the same type of event you would see in Brazil, with fantastic costumes and floats.

So join us for a tour inland from The Algarve coast and visit with us to the town of Alte, Loule and of course Loule Carnaval.
