An eerie performance of ancient sacred music, combining vocal chant and bells in an electronic display in the cloister at Burgos Cathedral. Taken in July 2009, this video shows the magnificent gothic cathedral in Burgos, Castilla Y Leon, Spain. Founded in 1221 by Bishop Don Mauricio, Burgos Cathedral is Spains third largest church. It was begun under the reign of Fernando III. The Latin cross architectural plan measures 82 metres long. Over three centuries, the construction of the cathedral was carried out in stages. Many of Europes greatest artists and architects were employed for the task.
