"A decoupling of the relationship between the European Union and China is not in our interest, it is in nobody's interest, both politically and economically" said Germany’s foreign minister, Heiko Maas, as Wang Yi finished his European tour in Berlin.

The Chinese foreign minister has just completed his five nation week long tour of Europe, visiting Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, France and Germany, focusing on the relationship between China and the aforementioned countries.

"We have three main areas of agreement which are to continue; multilateralism, strengthen unity and cooperation and focus on the mainstream of China-EU relations to contain any disputes" said Wang.
