LEAVING EUROPE COVID-19 | Last day in Zagreb, Croatia

In light of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, we have returned home to Canada. After days of back and forth, trying to decide whether we were going to stay in Zagreb, move to the Dalmatia coast or head back home to Canada, we feel we have made the right choice. Although a cancelled trip is unfortunate, we are thankful to be healthy and to have had the opportunity to return home. We are so sorry for anyone who has been impacted by the situation.

We learned this morning that a big earthquake hit Zagreb the day after we left. We are so shook by this news, an earthquake especially during a time when everyone is told to stay indoors but can't. Our hearts go out to the people affected by this. Stay safe Zagreb xo
