This crisis lockdown is costing the UK economy a blistering £2.4 billion every single day says a new report.According to a report out today, the UK economy is being hit with a £2.4 billion bill every day due to this lockdown.

And that represents a reduction in economic output or the country of a whopping 31%.

This isn't of course uniform across all sectors, some are being hit harder than others.

The Centre for Economics and Business Research, or CEBR, looked at 105 major industries and found that the UK economy was suffering in much the same way as our French counterparts whose economic activity has fallen by 35%.
