Praia da Galé is a hidden treasure on the Algarve, stretching four kilometres west of Albufeira and is located just before Armação de Pêra on Portugal's southern coast. Surrounded by rock formations and nature, Galé beach has soft, golden sands and clear water which can be a bit nippy but after a day spent lounging in the glorious sunshine, it is a refreshing way to cool down. Ear marked as a blue flag beach it is popular among Portuguese local and expats during summer months.
