Praia do Camilo is a famous beach in the Algarve. It has been voted the most beautiful beach in this part of Portugal. You have to take 225 stairs to get to the sandy beach and the colourful rocks. It is located in a bay just outside the town of Lagos. It's not that well-known to most tourists, but don't forget to visit!

I went there early in the morning on a winters day to enjoy all the attractions of this beach. Like the lovely natural arch and the small tunnel to a second beach. The waves, the sea and the air was perfect. You should put this beach on your Bucket List when you visit the Algarve. In any season that is.
