Remco Evenepoel does what he do again at Volta ao Algarve Stage 2, destroying Ardennes specialists in Wellens, Martin, Schachmann and Costa in a tough uphill sprint finish. This was Remco Evenepoel's 3rd win already for the 2020 season, adding to his tally from Vuelta a San Juan earlier. The stage win and time bonus vaulted him into the leader's jersey already, and with a 20km flat time trial in stage 5 to finish the Volta ao Algarve, Evenepoel is the hot favourite to take out the general classification for this race.
