This is the touching moment a US soldier girl returned to her hometown in Holtville to give a surprise visit to her best friend.

"I left for the Army 3 days after I graduated and was told that my family couldn’t come to my basic training or AIT graduation. So I decided to surprise everyone for Christmas since I was allowed to go home. My best friend, the one in the video, she’s been by my side since day 1. My biggest supporter, my go-to, my therapist, she’s my everything. Being away from her for so long was definitely one of the hardest parts of leaving, so when I got the chance I came home to surprise her."
