VILA DO BISPO & SAGRES | Algarve, Portugal | Costa Vicentina from Above

The Vila do Bispo area was long considered 'The End of the World' before the great explorers set sail from Lagos around the end of the 15th century.

Located right on the southwestern tip Portugal, it features a coastline facing South and West. The West coast has dramatic cliffs, jaw-dropping (world-famous) sunsets and is a popular surf destination due to the many surf spots and the swells arriving uninterrupted. The South Coast is more sheltered and includes several gorgeous beaches with clear green-blue water, often hidden in pirate-like coves.

The water can be cold, the winds can be strong, but this is Portugal pure and raw. Get ready for an adventure.

The Costa Vicentina is located on the most southwestern tip of mainland Europe in the south of Portugal. It is known for its raw natural beauty with hardly any (human) developments because of its Natural Park status.
