On this perfect sunny day in Portugal we discovered a majestic arch, several hidden beach coves and topped it off with the picturesque Senhora da Rocha chapel on a cliff.

Lagoa is known for the Benagil cave, Carvoeiro, the 7 hanging valleys trail and our favorite town of Ferragudo but has so much more to offer. The Arch of Albandeira is truly impressive, the secret pathway from Praia de Albandeira is easy to spot and definitely worth it during low tide.

Senhora da Rocha is an old chapel on an outcrop in Porches, it used to be available for weddings but we heard that is no longer the case. Flanked by two stunnin' beaches, it's a perfect day trip destination for those staying in the central Algarve.
