Nada Prlja was born in 1971 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. She lived in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia since 1981. Since 2014, she lives between Skopje and London, England.
Prlja’s work deals with the complex situations of inequality and injustice in societies, her work challenges critical discourse around issues of current politics, nationalism, human rights, migration. With differ-ent media, such as installation, video, live-acts in public space, Prlja tries to affect society and to create possible resolution or alternative to the present political and social realities.
