March 2019. Our trip in Bulgaria was a relaxed one, as we got to stay with a really lovely family whose kids were the same age as Daie & Emily, and they got along happily (Daie refused to leave!). After having to go buy bus tickets to Macedonia, spending hours riding trams (and getting lost), several McDonalds's trips, and accidentally taking a *very* slow train back from Plovdiv, I just realized we should have seen more places in Sofia, but that didnt matter much when we got to spend time having dinner and chatting with our hosts, exchanging our stories! Sofia is less busy city, and with Daie's favorite trams, definitely among the places we want to go back!
