FREEDIVING WITH PACIFIC BLUE FREEDIVING AT KONTIKI MARINA DIVE RESORT

Hello and welcome to my channel!
This is WOMAN GOLDEN AGE.

KONTIKI is synonymous to diving here in Cebu. With a growing interest in scuba and freediving, more and more people converge to this place for lessons and trainings.

I had my freediving lessons here with Pacific Blue Freediving coached by owner and instructor Marion John Sumalinog, a national title holder in freediving. He is a young, very approachable, friendly yet excellent and effective instructor of this course.

Quite often I attend the free trainings on weekends with much younger friends and dive buddies. I go at my own pace and nobody minds. I love the sea, the friendly atmosphere, and the vibe of the place.

KONTIKI Marina Dive Resort is located at Datag, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island,, Cebu Philippines

Built on a coral rock, the rooms and villas face the sea and an open air sitting area extends to a veranda overlooking the sea. There is no beach, but cemented stone steps lead to clear waters.

KONTIKI has rooms for guests who want to stay. They just started operating Wahoo, an open informal restaurant serving coffee, drinks and meals. The Wahoo veggie pancit is my favorite.

If you are new to freediving course, you have to bring your own snorkel. Masks are provided. Fins can be rented at p150/day. Entrance fee for day use is P150/person.
