For the kids' Fall Break this year we decided to visit Prague! We spent 3 days there which was the prefect time.

I highly recommend to stay in "Praha 1" area, making it super easy to walk around. We usually rent cars places but in Prague we didn't need to. We walked everywhere. Uber'd to/from the airport and to the zoo. Coming back from the zoo we had to take the tram bc no uber's would take our ride haha. The tram was super easy to use and for the 4 of us was about 6Euros. There's a ticket station at the zoo exit, purchase the timed pass (we bought the 90 min option), and you "time ticket in" upon entering the bus and you have 90 minutes that it's valid. Other than this part of the trip, we walked everywhere!

Day 1:
Charles Bridge
Astronomical Clock
Old Town

Day 2:
Prague Castle
Gardens below the castle
Neighborhood areas around it

Day 3:
Prague Zoo

This trip was planned w our 6 and 5 year olds in mind. Lots of park breaks, snack breaks, and back-to-the-hotel breaks. My husband and I have Prague on our list to come back to together - we'd love to go inside museums and churches and take those tours. They also had these "thick wheeled bicycle" tours I want to do! The city is a beautiful place. So much charm and history.
