Prague & the Jewish Quarter 1080p

Amidst the wonderful astronomical town clock chiming, with its miniature people and skeleton, is the Charles Bridge and the Jewish town. A crucifix with Jesus on the Charles Bridge is headlined in Hebrew "Holy Holy Holy Lord God of Hosts," which passersby may or may not notice, even nowadays. Prague is the birthplace of the Golem mythology, a mud/clay monster said to have been stashed in the Old New Synagogue, and at the beck and call of Rabbi Loew from the 16th century. See if you can find the Golem in the movie! Hitler used Prague to store plundered Judaica from across Europe, with the intention of making the city a "museum" to the extinct Jewish people. The cemetery is an example of the ghetto not permitted to expand. Instead, the dead were buried in crowded layers upwards, above street level.
