I wanted to take my mum away for a few days as her Christmas present this year, but didn't want her to know where we were going. I took advantage of the fact we connected flights through Amsterdam to convince her that's where we were going... and it worked! Between keeping that surprise a secret, Christmas markets, chimney cakes and getting caught up in some kind of protest at the end of the day, it's the first day in Prague that she definitely didn't expect.
