Vysehrad Cemetery Tour in Prague

On a crisp fall day, November 15, 2021, I walked to Vysehrad, a large hillside castle with a cemetery. There is a longer video that shows the entire walk but this is a separate short focus on the cemetery and a quick look at the cathedral. I was fortunate to be standing outside the cathedral when the bells played a little song. This moment is at the end of the video.

Vysehrad is worth the trip. The grounds are beautiful and the there are great views to be seen from different vantage points. I spent the afternoon wandering around but there is much I didn't see. I will go back.

The cemetery is small but impressive. Many prominent historical Czech figures are buried there, including Antonin Dvorak and Alphonse Mucha. As you can see in the video, there are beautiful statues and tombs to be appreciated.
