On 26 May, I went around Warsaw Poland, in what's possibly one of the more underrated European cities compared to the likes of Paris, London, Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Barcelona, Milan, and Madrid, even though there is a war in the Ukraine (a country bordering Poland), caused by Vladimir Putin (during WWII, Poland was invaded by both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, right after the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was signed on 23 August 1939). Despite a neighbouring country was at war, my time in Poland has been positive and in my experience, Warsaw is much safer than many American cities as there are fewer homicides, and plus, since Warsaw is underrated compared to the likes of Paris, London, Rome, etc, I have not experienced any scams during my time in Warsaw. The only downside to Warsaw was that they lacked a place to store your luggage at the train station, due to 'fears of terrorism' (the man in the information desk told me that), so I had to carry my bag throughout the day and it just made the day 'horrible'. Although my day was full of heaviness, I went to the Palace of Science and Culture (now the 2nd tallest building, but before last year, the tallest building in Poland) which included the Technology Museum, the Zlote Tarasy (Golden Terraces) Shopping Complex, the Castle Square, The Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Barbican, the Old Town Market Square, and took a biking tour around the city. Unfortunately, I did not get to go to certain museums, such as the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Chopin Museum, the Copernicus Museum, or the POLIN Museum because of time constraints, and another place I forgot to visit was the Apple Museum in Warsaw, which wasn't even open until 28 May.
