On May 3 and 4, 2020, I decided to do a bikepacking trip on the Flint Hills Trail State Park. My plan was to ride by loaded bicycle east from Council Grove, Kansas to Osawatomie, Kansas over the two days. On the first day, I would ride 52 miles from Council Grove to Pomona Lake State Park where I would camp overnight. On the 2nd day, I would ride 42 miles from Pomona to Osawatomie. What made this trip unique was that the country was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Day 2 did not go as planned! Check out what happend here.
