Did you know some of the largest wine cellars in the world are in Moldova?
Cricova is only the second largest in the world, with over 120km of underground tunnels that were converted into wine cellars in the 1950s. Around half of them are used for storing wine. A visit here is one of the must-dos on a trip to Chisinau, the capital of Moldova.
If taking a road-train tour of the tunnels wasn't fun enough, the themed tasting rooms add to the experience.
