EU: The membership process has been started with Moldova and Georgia.

Oliver Varhelyi, European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement of the European Commission, announced that after Ukraine, the membership process of Moldova and Georgia to the European Union (EU) has been started.
Following Ukraine, the first step was taken in the EU membership process of Moldova and Georgia.

European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, announced on his social media account that he had given the necessary EU entry questionnaire to apply for EU membership to Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu and Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili in Luxembourg.

"WE ARE READY TO GO VERY FAST"

"The first step. We are ready to go very fast. So the faster you fill it out, the faster we will be able to present an opinion to the Council of Europe," said Oliver.

On the other hand, the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, gave the EU accession questionnaire to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, during her visit to the capital of Ukraine, Kiev, on 8 April.

Zelenskiy stated that he would fill out the questionnaire and return it within a week.
