About two weeks ago, I visited the Chisinau the capital city of Moldova. I spent a total of 2 nights there and was able to visit most of the attractions I had planned to visit. Chisinau is not a popular tourist attraction but since I only had 2 countries left I haven't visited/planned visiting in Europe (the other one is Montenegro), then I decided it was about time. Visiting Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are out of of the question now due to the ongoing war. The hotel where I stayed (Mercure Chisinau Hotel) is centrally located so I could just start from there and then visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Triumphal Arch, all the way to the Cascade Stairs and then finally to the Alexander Pushkin House. I was fortunate enough to have a fairly good weather. One thing I noticed though during my stay in Chisinau is that all drivers would stop and give way to pedestrians who are crossing the street. I mean I never had a problem crossing the street when I was in Chisinau, I would always get the priority. I wish all countries are like that. In case you are traveling to Chisinau, here are some of my travel tips, and as always feel free to comment on the section below with your own travel tips.
