Before stepping inside Vinăria din Vale, we had the privilege of spending time with Vasile Ursu, Export Sales Manager of this remarkable family-owned winery and a passionate ambassador of Moldova's rich winemaking heritage.

More than sharing the story of Vinăria din Vale, Vasile introduced us to the deeper story of wine in Moldova itself. Through his insights, we gained a greater appreciation of how generations of tradition, innovation, and dedication have shaped one of the country's most important industries. His warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality made us feel less like visitors and more like friends, turning what we expected to be a winery tour into a truly memorable human connection.

As a family-owned producer managing more than 1,300 hectares of vineyards, Vinăria din Vale blends centuries of winemaking tradition with modern technology and the careful use of French oak barriques to produce an exceptional range of still and sparkling wines. It is a powerful example of how heritage and innovation can work together to create products that proudly represent Moldova on the global stage.
