Two days of skiing in the Carpathian Mountains! We went to Zakhar Berkut (Захар Беркут), a slope about 6 km outside of Slavske. Skiing, snowmobiling, and shashlik! What's better than fresh powder and ski breaks to drink homemade медуха (honey liquor)? I've been to three ski resorts in Ukraine, and I think the atmosphere at the Slavske slopes is one of the best. Gorgeous views all around and friendly people. Check out this video to see a tiny peek into skiing in the Carpathian mountains!
