Medieval Town of Toruń is one of the oldest city and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Poland. It is composed of Toruń Old Town and Toruń New Town.

Toruń is the birth place of the famous Astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. The Astronomer who was proved that the Earth was not a static center of the Universe but merely one of the planets circling the Sun along their orbits.
Toruń Town Hall is one of the largest brick buildings of that kind in Europe
Copernicus House
The Copernicus House in the 15th century belonged to Astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus parents. Inside the house are the various editions of Copernicus groundbreaking work called "De Revolutionibus".
The Leaning Tower
The Leaning Tower is the Medieval Tower which owes it's name to it's considerable tilt. The tower was connected with an offence of one of the Teutonic Knights from Torun.
Teutonic Knights Castle Ruins
Teutonic Knights Castle was constructed began in mid 13th century. The Castle in Toruń is among of the oldest structure erected by the Knights of the Teutonic Order on the right side of Vistula River. Today the layout of the Castle is clearly discernible, thanks to the outer walls that have been preserved.
Bridge Gate
The well-preserved Bridge Gate was built in 1432. It was called Gate on Ferry as it stood on the route which led to the Vistula Ferry crossing point.
The Convent Gate
The Convent Gate was erected in the 14th century as one of four gates leading to Toruń from the Vistula River port.
Muzeum Twierdy Torun (Toruń Fortress Museum)
The Museum presents the history of the fortification from the Middle Ages to the Mid twentieth century as well as the history of one of the largest military garrisons in Poland during inter-war period.
