This is the last volume of three and was published in 1864. The present Volume embraces a period of two years. It was thought better to delay, until the material at the Editor's disposal had so far accumulated as to call for a new Volume, rather than to force the publication of "vacation Tourists" to a formal period of issue. It is believed that the present Volume will be found fully as interesting as either of its two predecessors. There is certainly far more variety in its contents.
