A VERY BIG BLOW: Americans ARE BANNED from Europe - Here's WHY

Europe has opened up to a list of 15 safe countries for travel but America is not on the list. European countries began welcoming some nonessential travelers on July 1st.
If you live in the U.S you are now banned from going to Europe at least until further notice. This ban went into effect on the 1st of July. Can you imagine that? Who has the guts to ban a great nation like America?

This is a big blow to the U.S airline industry. U.S Airlines were supposed to start flying to Europe by July 1st. Major airline companies are already going through financial pain, this just makes the case worse.
Airlines make a good amount of revenue from travel to Europe.
This travel ban has led to Delta announcing that they will downsize and lay off thousands of people. We may see some airlines start going bankrupt.

This graph shows exactly why European countries are banning Americans from coming into Europe.
Many European countries went into a strict lockdown during the early stages of the pandemic.
New confirmed daily cases are increasing massively in the U.S compared to Europe which is on a decline with cases below 10,000 for more than a month.
New confirmed daily cases in the EU peaked around mid-March.

According to the New York Times, European officials have said that the list will be reviewed every two weeks. It’s possible that the United States will be added to the list if the country’s epidemiological situation improves. A country may also be removed from the list if its situation worsens.
