Starting in 2020, Americans will need to get an ETIAS when visiting Europe. This does not include every European country, but instead, all of the countries in the Schengen Zone (I mention those countries in the video.) So, Americans will not need a visa when visiting Europe, but will need to apply for the ETIAS Visa Waiver before traveling to the Schengen Zone countries in Europe.
