Algarve, Portugal ???????? Carvoeiro First Impressions & Apartment Tour

Our first impressions & apartment tour in Carvoeiro, a beautiful coastal town on the Portuguese coast in the Algarve. We traveled from Birmingham to Faro where we picked up our hire car and drove to Carvoeiro.

We had a morning flight from Birmingham International Airport to Faro in the Algarve, Portugal. The flight was 2 hours 50 minutes and we went with Ryanair. After collecting our luggage, we were greeted by a representative of the company we booked our hire car with. A short wait, some paperwork, and a check of the fiat panda later and we were on the road for the 60km journey to Carvoeiro town.

The drive was pretty easy - just one road until we turned off to get to Carvoeiro! We arrived at our apartment complex, found our home for the next week and a half and checked out our pretty apartment with a glorious balcony. After a quick visit to the shop for some snacks we found our way own to the Carvoeiro Boardwalk in time for the golden hour light. We strolled towards town and stopped at one of the platforms carved into the cliff face to watch a stunning sunset and fly the drone for some tasty aerial footage of Carvoeiro.

When the sun had set, we walked down the steps to the restaurants next to the beach and got a couple of drinks and some delicious loaded fries before heading back to the apartment.
